Twitter, which is headed by American businessman Elon Musk, continues to reduce employees. This was reported by Bloomberg on January 7.
According to the agency, another wave of layoffs affected employees of Twitter offices in Dublin and Singapore.
It is noted that at least 12 people were dismissed on Friday, January 6. At the same time, the cuts affected employees of the department for combating disinformation.
Earlier, on November 18, AVG Legal lawyer Alexey Gavrishev predicted problems for Musk due to his approach to Twitter management. According to him, due to the overload, the abilities of the company’s employees will fall and therefore Mask will have to find a way to retain the remaining employees and find the necessary number of new ones.
On the same day, The New York Times reported that about 1.2 thousand employees had quit Twitter of their own accord in recent days. In total, at the end of October, the number of full-time employees was 7.5 thousand people, but after mass layoffs it decreased to 3.7 thousand.
