Today, such building material as drywall is known to almost everyone who has ever been interested in repairs. Durable and reliable, it can be used in almost any room. With it, you can make walls and ceilings perfectly even or even create an additional partition in the room.
Gypsum cardboard KNAUF belongs to the group of combined building materials. It consists of two large sheets of cardboard, in the middle of which there is a gypsum filler. Drywall is used not only to correct the imperfections of the main parts of the room (walls, ceilings, etc. D.), but also to create various decorative structures (arches, recesses, shelves, etc. D.).
The thickness of the sheets can vary from 6 to 13 mm. Their width is usually 120 cm, and the length is 200-350 cm. At the same time, they weigh very little and easily mount. Metal profiles and special screws are used for installation of drywall sheets. The already installed sheets of drywall subsequently can be arranged in any desired way (pashed with wallpaper, mosaic or tiles).
In addition to ordinary drywall, there is also a waterproof drywall, which can be used in rooms where very high humidity. Thanks to special processing, sheets of this material are not deformed under the influence of moisture. In addition, they are not subject to infection with mold and fungus.
