Recently, decorative lattices, a variety of fences and balcony fences are made from small -piece blocks made of fine -grained concrete.
Most often, blocks are produced by vibrational pressing and have high strength characteristics, a long service life. In this case, the accuracy of geometric proportions is almost unattainable with other technologies. In many regions of our country, in connection with the rapid development of mass cottage construction, a demand for such fences has occurred. At several small enterprises that can quickly respond to new consumer demand, on standard machines for the manufacture of paving slabs, the production of fences made of sand concrete was established. These products had a flat butt surface used to combine on the gap, as well as a surface with a lock connection.
Typically, such products have a multifunctional purpose. They are used as fragments for garden and park paths, details of fences, elements for decorative grilles, as well as sieves intended for fencing trees so that the earth under them does not trample on them. Even small -piece blocks are great as a “green parking lot” for cars. In this case, vegetable soil is poured between the blocks, and in the future the grass is planted in it. Such blocks can be used to strengthen slopes and in the process of coastal work.
